Is long-term acute care right for you?

At LHC Group long-term acute care hospitals, we care for medically complex patients who require intense, specialized treatment for an extended period of time (usually about 20 to 30 days). These patients often transfer from intensive care units in traditional hospitals and need ventilator or other life support medical assistance. Patients in this program may have a range of injuries or illnesses, from brain injury to multiple traumas to infectious diseases.
