Jonathan D. Goldberg

Mr. Goldberg was elected a director of Almost Family in 1997 and served continuously through the merger with LHC Group. Mr. Goldberg is the managing member of the law firm of Goldberg Simpson in Louisville, Ky. He joined the firm in 1975 and has served as managing partner/managing member since 1991. Mr. Goldberg’s practice primarily includes general commercial litigation and employment law. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in history and earned his law degree from the University of Louisville. Mr. Goldberg’s legal background brings a different perspective to the board. His expertise in labor, employment, and business law provides the board important regulatory and governance experience.

Mr. Goldberg is a member of the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Associations. He is past chairman of the Jefferson County Waste Management District Board and past chairman of the Louisville Visual Arts Association and the Louisville Theatrical Association. He is a member of the board of directors of the Greater Louisville Fund for the Arts and a trustee of the Jewish Hospital Heritage Fund for Excellence, a foundation whose purpose is to fund medical research and support the Jewish community of Kentucky.
