Columbia hospice agency announces name change and new location
CarePro Hospice now called South Carolina Hospice and Palliative Care
COLUMBIA, S.C. – In continuing its commitment to provide quality hospice care to the people of Columbia and the surrounding communities, CarePro Hospice has changed its name and is now operating as South Carolina Hospice and Palliative Care.
The agency is now operating from its new location at 140 Stoneridge Dr, Suite 630, in Columbia. The same local staff of highly trained hospice professionals will continue to deliver excellent patient care under the direct supervision of patients’ physicians.
Hospice professionals provide the emotional, spiritual and medical support needed when patients are facing the final stages of life. Hospice services help patients live comfortably, with dignity, when a cure is no longer possible. Hospice care programs can be provided in any place a patient calls home, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
