Advance Directive

An advance directive – a living will and/or a medical power of attorney – refers to instructions about your future medical care in the event that you become unable to speak for yourself. Each state regulates the use of advance directives differently. The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization provides free advance directive documents and instructions.
