A Little Comfort Can Go a Long Way

One day on a call, a nurse at Halcyon Hospice mentioned a young boy who spent most of his time in an uncomfortable hospital bed. Although she did not know this patient, Account Executive Natalie Dedeaux knew she could help make a difference in his life. She quickly reached out to a community group she is involved in who helps those in need, and they were able to donate a top of the line electric recliner for the young boy and his family. When Natalie delivered the chair, she was able to meet the young boy’s family, and got to see his reaction first-hand. He loves his chair, and is getting many restful night sleeps and wears a huge smile on his face when he sees his hospice team. Even though Natalie did not know this boy or his family, she selflessly reacted to make a contribution that this family will hold close to their heart forever.
