Harris Palliative Care and Hospice had a patient who was not eating well at the facility she was staying in. In order to get her to eat more, Aide Kay Bryson decided to bring lunch and eat with this patient multiple times every week. The kindness and compassion Kay showed her patient not only helped her to improve her eating habits, but offered companionship while she lives out her days. This act of thoughtfulness helped this patient emotionally, and demonstrated compassion and support. It’s the little things that make a difference!
