Alabama Hospice Care of Jasper had a patient who lived alone. He could no longer do any house cleaning, and his home was suffering to the point where he was facing eviction. The team at Alabama Hospice Care of Jackson teamed up to help him however they could. They signed him up for a program to help with housekeeping, dedicated a day to deep cleaning is apartment, and got him a hospital bed with new sheets. After all they did, the patient let the team know that stepped in at just the right time and made his day! Although these tasks are not typical for a hospice team, they knew that they could make a difference in this patient’s life.
